a little preview
We haven't officially started school yet - but we have been doing a little bit in the mornings just to help get us started in a routine. For the last month or so I have been doing a Bible devotion at breakfast every morning and then at lunch I would read a chapter of a book. This week I just added some morning work and we started a new book at lunch. Here we are getting our morning work on. I love how Linnea looks as if she can read following right along. Once we start our first day I will post about what our morning work is made up of. This was what we began reading at lunch today ...thankfully it is not what we ate :-)
Welcome!!!
Welcome to the Homeschool blog - a work in progress for sure - just like our hearts!!
Gods word says "Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life."
~Proverbs 4:23
Well since my sweet herd is still quite young it is my job to watch over their hearts - to guide them, to lead them to the One who is able to keep them from stumbling, to the One who is the maker and keeper of their hearts. Oh how I pray that God will use this time at home to grow us in all aspects of life, not just the cuties but me as well. The work in my heart will never be done on this side of Heaven but again "He who calls us is faithful He will surely do it", He who began the work will complete the work. So here we are! Always a work in progress.
I hope this blog will be helpful to anyone out there who reads it. AND I am for sure hoping I can post pics and regularly blog on it so my kids can have some kind of yearbook at the end. So stay tuned!!
